How to deal with stagnancy in life

First of all, take a deep breath, think about where you are and how that can benefit you, instead of where you want to be. Life is not only about all the goals you wish to achieve, but It’s also about being in the moment and enjoying where you are instead of just wishing to be somewhere else. Your stagnancy will only wash away once you make peace with it and learn to let go.

Following are some ways you can overpower your stagnancy and learn to live in those times and not just exist:

  1. Slow down: Use this period to take care of yourself and recognize your needs at this point instead of mindlessly chasing a goal just to move forward in life. Slow down and take one day at a time.
  2. Stop comparing: Many times, our need to do more and want more comes from looking at others in life who are supposedly doing "better" than us. The only way to beat this is by stop comparing. You can do this by doing a social media detox, practicing self-care, joining clubs and groups with like-minded people, etc.
  3. Build a routine: Build a routine. This will help by giving you a sense of direction in life and feel energetic and purposeful. And if you already have a routine, try adding some new, fun elements and changes to it.
  4. Learn something new: There are many activities that can help you feel purposeful and good about yourself. Learn something new but don't forget to have fun while doing it!

Remember, this phase of your life is not your enemy. Learn to embrace it and see yourself bloom.
